Auditions for The Marriage of Figaro
The Greenville Symphony Orchestra invites talented performers to audition for our upcoming production of The Marriage of Figaro. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals for the roles of Marcellina, Bartolo, Basilio, and Antonio.
Step into Mozart’s captivating world where love and mischief intertwine in a delightful storm of schemes and lively antics. A valet wishes to wed a maid, but Count Almaviva has different plans. Experience the charm of mistaken identities, ingenious disguises, and amusing misunderstandings in an operatic adventure filled with joy and endless entertainment.

More rehearsals may be scheduled if needed at mutually convenient times. Singers chosen for the roles will receive a small stipend. The roles will be sung in Italian, off-book. Singers must be available for all rehearsals and performances.

Greenville Symphony Internship Program
The Greenville Symphony is excited to offer in-person internships to local students. Our program creates an opportunity for college students to experience the day-to-day tasks of running a professional orchestra. Interns will learn about all parts of the organization with the opportunity to focus on one department. We are seeking highly motivated, outgoing, and organized individuals with a positive outlook and a ‘can-do’ attitude!
The Greenville Symphony is looking for students to work in the office over the summer. The summer internship program runs from the end of May to the beginning of August. For the 2024 summer, we are looking for students interested in Orchestra Operations, Music Education, Marketing, Social Media, PR, Event Planning, and Fundraising.
