For five-year-old Juniper and her four-year-old brother, Sullivan, experiencing live music has become a family tradition.
At a recent Greenville Symphony Lollipops concert, they sat just a few feet from the musicians as a story unfolded through words and music. They listened. They watched. They took it all in.
And thanks to the generosity of Greenville Symphony donors, this special experience is free for everyone.
But moments like these are happening throughout our community.
Through EdReach, Symphony musicians visit elementary schools across Greenville County, bringing live orchestral music directly into classrooms and introducing students to instruments they may never have seen or heard in person.
And through the Children’s Concert, a tradition that began in 1951, generations of students have experienced the excitement of hearing a full orchestra perform. For 75 years, the Symphony has kept that promise to our community.
These experiences do more than entertain. They spark curiosity, inspire imagination, create connections, and open doors to possibilities that may last a lifetime.
And they are made possible through the generosity of people who believe that music should be part of everyone’s life.
This year, the Greenville Symphony hopes to raise $75,000 through our Beyond Measure campaign to support the education and community programs that bring music into the lives of people throughout Greenville.
Your gift helps make it possible for a child to hear a violin for the first time, for a family to experience a free concert together, or for a classroom of students to discover the excitement of a live orchestra.
We can count the children we reach. What we cannot measure is where those moments may lead.
The next moment begins with you.
Please make your gift by December 31 and
help create more moments that matter.
