Education & Community

Thanks to the generosity of individuals, foundations and corporations, the Greenville Symphony Orchestra is able to spend more than 10% of its annual budget on music education and appreciation programs.

The Greenville Symphony Orchestra's Education and Community Engagement mission is to increase musical involvement in the Upstate of South Carolina by offering a variety of educational performances and activities that nurture increased knowledge and enjoyment of orchestral music. We are committed to developing and maintaining a central role in Upstate South Carolina quality of life because we believe that music is a powerful tool for the intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development of our entire community.
