Christine joined the Greenville Symphony in March of 2020. She attended the University of South Carolina where she received a music scholarship for piano and voice while pursuing a business degree. Christine brings with her a legacy of success as a marketing manager responsible for a $40 million business unit with tesa tape inc., a Beiersdorf company, which is a large, international manufacturing company based in Charlotte, North Carolina. With this robust record GSA board member and Development chair, Terry Weaver said, “In thirty years of hiring business professionals, I’ve rarely seen a candidate with comparable education, experience, and interpersonal skills.” As the director of Development for the Greenville Symphony Association, Mrs. DeMint will be responsible for and oversee all fundraising program initiatives and development, including its current Endowment campaign, as well as donor relations and cultivation. Christine is dedicated to our orchestra and our community and we are elated to have her join the GSA staff.
