Borodin: Polovtsian Dances from Prince Igor

Master composer Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov delivers an array of dazzling orchestral colors with his Capriccio Espagnol, and his students display all they learned: be thrilled by the fiery and exotic fantasies of Stravinsky with his Firebird Suite, while Borodin pulls out all the stops with his mighty and wild “Heroic Symphony.”

This concert will feature a multimedia presentation of works created by students from the SC Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities Visual Arts Department in collaboration with the Greenville Center for Creative Arts.
