CANCELED: Orchestral Brilliance

Out of an abundance of care and concern for the health and safety of our audience members, musicians and staff, and in consideration of the rapidly changing public health situation regarding the COVID-19 virus, the Greenville Symphony Orchestra is canceling all concerts and events for the remainder of the 2019-20 season through May 12, 2020.

The Greenville Symphony Orchestra remains committed to providing patrons with the full value of their tickets.  Ticket holders will be contacted in the coming weeks to discuss those options.

Edvard Tchivzhel, Conductor

Rossini: Overture to The Italian Girl in Algiers
Bizet: Symphony No. 1
Tchaikovsky: Suite No. 4 (“Mozartiana”)

The sunny sights and sounds of Spring close our Chamber Orchestra Series season on a festive note.  Enjoy Rossini’s breathtaking overture to The Italian Girl in Algiers as it takes you away to another time and place; bask in Bizet’s luminous and explosive First Symphony; and swoon to the gorgeous melodies of Tchaikovsky’s romantic tribute to Mozart with his Suite No. 4, “Mozartiana.”
