CANCELED: Happy Birthday, Beethoven!

Out of an abundance of care and concern for the health and safety of our audience members, musicians and staff, and in consideration of the rapidly changing public health situation regarding the COVID-19 virus, the Greenville Symphony Orchestra is canceling all concerts and events for the remainder of the 2019-20 season through May 12, 2020.

The Greenville Symphony Orchestra remains committed to providing patrons with the full value of their tickets.  Ticket holders will be contacted in the coming weeks to discuss those options.

You’re cordially invited to the 250th birthday of Ludwig van Beethoven!  We close our 72nd concert season in grand fashion with the talents of four world-renowned soloists and the incomparable Greenville Chorale.  The party gets started with Wagner’s Prelude to Lohengrin and Brahms’ Academic Festival Overture and then kicks into high gear with the greatest gift Beethoven bestowed to the world, his monumental Ninth Symphony.
