Friday Night Chamber Chats
The Greenville Symphony Orchestra is excited to introduce our all-new “Friday Night Chamber Chats,” curated by Dr. Braxton Ballew! You’re invited to join us immediately after the Friday, November 15th performance of “The Magnificent Mozart” — interested patrons who would like to participate in an interactive, lively discussion that includes a question and answer session between the audience members and a select panel of two to three musicians are invited to return to Gunter Theatre after a brief hiatus in which patrons can purchase wine and other beverages to take back into the auditorium. This Friday’s November 15th “Chamber Chat” will be hosted by GSO Education Director, Dr. Braxton Ballew, where he will be joined onstage by GSO musicians Lauren Piccirillo Waid (bassoon) and John Young Shik Concklin (viola). “Chamber Chats” will last no more than thirty minutes and there is no charge for admission (“Friday Night Chamber Chats” are only open to patrons who purchased a ticket to the concert). We encourage you to get to know the GSO and our musicians on a more personal level through this unique, approachable and engaging format.
