Maestro Edvard Tchivzhel, Music Director and Conductor, announces auditions for the following vacancies:

- Assistant Principal Second Violin on June 1, 2017
- Second Oboe on May 31, 2017
- Second Trombone on June 1, 2017
- Section/Sub-Extra String Positions (violin, viola) on May 30, 2017
- Section/Sub-Extra String Positions (cello, double bass) on May 31, 2017
- Substitute/Extra Musicians (woodwinds) on May 31, 2017
- Substitute/Extra Musicians (brass, percussion instruments) on May 30, 2017
Section string positions will have approximately 88 services or approximately 59 services, depending on position

The list of excerpts, application, and additional information will be sent after your resume is received.
If invited to audition, a confirmation email, application, and a list of excerpts will be sent to you no later than May 12, 2017. A $75 deposit is required to secure an audition time. Checks should be made payable to “Greenville Symphony Orchestra,” and must be postmarked by May 18, 2017. The deposit will be refunded at the time of audition or if notice of cancellation is received by May 22, 2017. Please do not send this check with your resume in your audition package.
