Saturday, September 29, 2018
10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon
The Courtyard in front of the Symphony Center at 200 South Main Street, downtown Greenville
Join us for the GSO’s Main Street Kickoff to the 2018-2019 concert season on Saturday morning, September 29th! Peruse the fresh produce and locally sourced products at the TD Saturday Market located on Main Street in downtown Greenville, then stop by the Symphony Center and enjoy the live music of the Greenville Symphony Brass Quintet, featuring Phil Elkins and Craig King on trumpet; Bill Tyler on horn; Nick Voorhees on trombone; and Don Strand on tuba. The Brass Quintet will perform several musical highlights from this year’s fantastic repertoire!
Be sure to get there early — the first 100 people to come by the Symphony Center receive a colorful, reusable GSO tote bag! The GSO tote bag is perfect for carrying groceries, books and magazines, and other odds and ends — and you can use it on Saturday morning at the TD Saturday Market!
Clemson or Carolina? Furman or The Citadel? Wear your team colors (or even better, your team jerseys!) on Saturday morning and cheer your school on when the GSO Brass Quintet plays your team’s fight song!
It’s a morning of rousing, live music, ticket and swag giveaways, as well as the ability to buy season tickets and meet the GSO Music Director & Conductor, Maestro Edvard Tchivzhel. Staff members will be on hand to answer questions about this concert season’s amazing lineup, as well as selling 2018-19 subscriptions (it’s not too late!). So, enjoy the TD Saturday Market and get pumped up for the upcoming concert season on Saturday, September 29th!
Please note, this is a non-smoking event.
