Timbre Tales

Timbre Tales is a collaboration between the South Carolina Children's Theatre and the Greenville Symphony Orchestra. Timbre Tales are presented at SCCT headquarters in downtown Greenville (153 Augusta Street) on three Tuesdays throughout the school year. For each performance, SCCT Principal Teaching Artist Traysie Amick will present a character performance (complete with costumes!) of a children's book. Traysie's performance will include cues for audience participation, while the Greenville Symphony Orchestra chamber groups perform classical pieces selected for each storybook.  Timbre Tales are recommended for K3 through Fifth graders.

Timbre Tales are free of charge; reservations are not necessary. Performances start at 4:30 p.m. and last approximately 30 minutes.
