Timbre Tales
Timbre Tales is a collaboration between the South Carolina Children's Theatre and the Greenville Symphony Orchestra. Timbre Tales programs are presented at the SCCT headquarters in downtown Greenville (153 Augusta Street) on three Tuesday throughout the school year. For each performance, SCCT Education Coordinator Traysie Amick will present a character performance (complete with costumes!) of a children's book. Traysie's dramatic recitation will include cues for audience members to participate through speech and movement, while the Greenville Symphony Orchestra chamber ensembles perform classical pieces selected for each storybook.
Timbre Tales are free of charge; reservations are not necessary. Performances start at 4:30 p.m.
TIMBRE TALES IS FINISHED FOR 2007-2008. WE'LL SEE YOU IN THE FALL! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO CAME OUT AND SUPPORTED TIMBRE TALES, AND WE APPRECIATE YOU ALL HELPING TO MAKE THIS THE BEST YEAR FOR TIMBRE TALES YET!
