Join us as we welcome Spring and commemorate anniversaries for two musical
Schuman(n)s: the 200th birthday of Robert Schumann and the 100th birthday of William Schuman, one of America's first major composers.  Audience sweetheart Marina Kolomiitseva is sure to thrill you once again as she returns to give the Greenville premiere
of Tchaikovsky's fiery Piano Concerto No. 2.

Tchaikovsky: Piano Concerto No. 2
R. Schumann: Symphony No. 1 "Spring"
W. Schuman: Newsreel (In Five Shots)

Paul Hyde will lead a free Pre-concert Talk one hour prior to both the Saturday and Sunday concerts.  Pre-Concert Talks are held in the Founder's Room above Larkin's on the River.  These talks, for individuals interested in learning more about the concert's program, are free of charge.
