Timbre Tales Concert
featuring the GSO Wind Quintet & music by Gustav Holst FREE Admission! This wonderful and educational children's book, written by the Third grade class at Tokay Colony Elementary School, creatively transforms the story of students and the solar system, detailing what students did to help "lonely" Pluto after it was no longer classified as a planet. Join musicians from the Greenville Symphony Orchestra & actors from the South Carolina Children's Theatre for an afternoon of fun and music as we explore together, Poor Pluto. Performances begin at 4:30 p.m. at South Carolina Children's Theatre (153 Augusta Street) and last approximately 30 minutes. Timbre Tales are appropriate for children ages 3-7, though all are welcome!
