Prepare to be mesmerized by two spectacular works as the great Pyotr Tchaikovsky dons his sorcerer's cap and casts a melodic spell, each inspired by Italian impressions.  The concert begins with the Greenville premiere of the monumental Fourth Symphony by another Russian master -- Sergei Taneyev, beloved pupil and close friend of Tchaikovsky himself.

Paul Hyde will lead a Pre-Concert Talk one hour prior to the Saturday and Sunday performances in the Founder's Room above Larkin's on the River.  These talks are free of charge and last approximately 45 minutes.  Pre-Concert Talks give interesting insights to the program and composers to enhance your concert experience.  Come join us!
